County Executive Gardner to Hold Livable Frederick Town Hall on Wednesday (March 14)

winchesterhallFor those who are interested in the planning of the future of Frederick County, this Wednesday evening (March 14th), there will be another opportunity to learn about it, and to ask questions or share comments about the draft Livable Frederick Master Plan — the comprehensive planning process which began more than two years ago.

County Executive Gardner to Hold Livable Frederick Town Hall on March 14

FREDERICK, MD – Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner will hold a Town Hall to receive citizen feedback on the draft Livable Frederick Master Plan at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at Winchester Hall, 12 E. Church Street. Citizens who cannot attend in person are invited to participate through Facebook Live during the session.

“This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our community,” said Executive Gardner.

“Come out in person or online to contribute toward our vision for Frederick County.” Livable Frederick is a totally new approach to comprehensive planning that starts with a community-developed vision for Frederick County. Livable Frederick strategically plans for the future to ensure a higher quality of life and a prosperous community. It incorporates survey results, demographics and innovative technology.

The Town Hall will be streamed live on the Facebook page Frederick County Executive Jan H. Gardner (www.facebook.com/JanGardnerExec). Citizens are invited to submit questions or comments, which should be directly related to Livable Frederick, below the live feed. Executive Gardner will respond to social media messages so that those attending in person or watching on Facebook may hear the answers. Citizens may also e-mail comments to CountyExecutive@FrederickCountyMD.gov.

The Town Hall will be broadcast on FCG TV, cable channel 19, and webcast at
www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/video.
