Veterans Day is November 11th. Honor a Veteran by voting on November 4th.

Veterans Day is Tuesday November 11th.

Honor a Veteran by voting on November 4th.

Don’t plan to vote?

Lets figure out why and help you execute your constitutional right to vote. Tens of thousands of American military have given and continue to give their lives defending your constitutional right to vote. Make the time to honor that sacrifice.

Don’t have time?

On November 4th polls are open for 11 hours, from 7:00am until 8:00pm.

As a reminder – Early voting ran for eights days (October 23rd through October 30th) from 10:00am to 8:00pm every day including Saturday and Sunday. There were there early voting locations this year: Thurmont library, Urbana library, and the Frederick Senior Center on Taney Ave.

Don’t know who to vote for?

Last week, all registered voters received a sample ballot in the mail this week listing all the candidates and referendums.

If you can’t find your sample ballot the Frederick County Board of Elections provides a list of all candidates here. Your voter registration card will list what Congressional, State and County Council Districts you live in or fill in your address here.

To find out who is the best candidate for you:

1) Google the candidates names. Every candidate has a website and/or Facebook page. If you are having problems finding a candidate’s website, the Board of Election provides that information as a PDF here.

2) The League of Women Voters of Frederick County puts out a candidate booklet every election based on information provided by each candidate. Download their voter guide here.

3) If you have specific questions, call or email the candidate and ask them.

Thank you for Voting!
