The urgency required to draw down carbon emissions in our world has become a critical focus for our environmental work at Envision Frederick County.
EDUCATE: Climate change and mitigation measures we can do as citizens of the planet are major features of the information we share on social media, on our website and in our programs. The 2022 Envision Essentials in spring 2022 features a double-session on environmental equity through the lens of climate change, and our climate focus will likely continue in the fall Essentials Semester.
ADVOCATE: While we are a 501(C)3, we consider it a focal point of our mission to educate and prepare the community to advocate for climate change mitigation strategies and sustainability measures. To that end, our social media and alerts to our mailing list and community will focus on ways YOU can make a difference, and provide you the information you need to urge our policymakers to act. Sign up for our mailing list here!
SUPPORT: Lifting up the work of our partners is integral to the mission of Envision.
