Interested in solar energy? Confused by the dizzying array of options and providers?
On October 25, from 3:00 to 5:00pm, please join us for a free and informative, virtual consumer education workshop, hosted by The Climate Change Working Group of Frederick County for electricity customers who want information about the different renewable energy options.
Not all models for obtaining solar power require the installation of panels, and some can offer immediate power savings, with no upfront costs, making them well-suited for low and moderate income households (including renters).
Attendees will learn from energy experts how to shop for electricity through the Public Service Commission and compare Community Solar and Solar Co-ops to home solar installation,. We’ll also learn about the prospects for Community Choice Aggregation renewable energy.
